🧂 Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Gluten-free all-purpose flour blend 1½ cups (about 190g)
Baking powder 2 teaspoons
Salt ¼ teaspoon
Sugar 1 tablespoon (adjust to taste)
Milk (or plant-based milk) 1¼ cups (about 300ml)
Eggs 2
Oil or melted butter ¼ cup (about 60ml)
Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon

Optional Add-ins:

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (for extra aroma)

  • ¼ cup chocolate chips, blueberries, or chopped nuts

👩🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle maker to medium-high heat.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: gluten-free flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients eggs, milk, oil (or melted butter), and vanilla extract.

  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients — gently stir until just mixed. Do not overmix; a few small lumps are okay.

  5. Grease the waffle maker with oil.

  6. Pour about ½ cup of batter (adjust based on your waffle maker size), close the lid, and wait for 3–5 minutes until golden and crisp.

  7. Remove the waffles slightly on a wire rack to stay crispy.

🍓 Serving Suggestions

  • Fresh fruits: strawberries, blueberries, banana slices

  • Maple syrup or honey

  • Whipped coconut cream

  • Peanut butter or almond butter

  • Gluten-free chocolate spread

💡 Tips

  • Use certified gluten-free flour blend (like Bob’s Red Mill, King Arthur, or Cup4Cup).

  • If it doesn't contain xanthan gum, add about ¼ teaspoon for better texture.

  • For a healthier twist, replace half the flour with gluten-free oat flour.

  • The batter can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 1 day.
